1. Trump Officials Ease Immigration Policy Before Midterm Elections

The Trump administration is softening its approach to immigration rules as the midterm elections get closer. Officials are making some changes to key policies to avoid upsetting voters who care about immigration. This means they are less strict than before about deportations and border controls. The change shows how politics can influence government actions, especially when elections are near. Experts say this might help Trump’s party keep support from moderate voters. However, it also creates uncertainty for many immigrants who hope for clearer rules. We will have to watch if these temporary changes become permanent after the elections.
